BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — We've certainly given you some great matchups this year, but this Friday's may be our best one yet.

The showdown between the Mayfield Wildcats and the Kenston Bombers will be featured as WKYC.com's High School Football Game of the Week, the final one of the regular season. The Western Reserve Conference clash took home 75% of the vote in out weekly poll.

Mayfield, ranked seventh in Ohio's Division II Associated Press poll, comes in at 9-0 and hoping to capture the Western Reserve outright. The Wildcats have taken off after a 5-6 season in 2018, thanks in-part to the play of quarterback Michael Huss.

Kenston has barely missed a beat since winning last year's D-III state championship, although they did lose to Chardon for the second straight season on the last play of regulation. Still, the Bombers are ranked seventh in D-III and are led by QB Jon Tumcufcik, dynamic running back Jack Porter, and Wake Forest commit George Sell on the line. They would clinch a trip back to the postseason and a first-round home game with a victory, although they could still sneak in with a loss.

The game will be featured in a live audio broadcast this Friday night on WKYC.com, the 3News app, and the 3News Facebook and YouTube pages. Dave "Dino" DeNatale and a to-be-determined guest will be on the call, and video highlights will be featured that night at 11 p.m. on What's Next as well as online.

Dino and Tyler Carey previewed the matchup and discussed 3News' latest rankings in Wednesday's high school football preview show. You can watch it again in the player below:
