John's Take: Are the Cavs really this good, or the East really this bad?

For My Take, the Cavs continue to look better and better making the East look worse and worse.

For My Take, the Cavs continue to look better and better making the East look worse and worse.

A 31 point blowout of the Raptors in Game 1 and the Cavs did it with an off-night shooting three pointers of 7-20 or 35 percent. Remember LeBron said this is not an outside shooting team.

LeBron's point is that by coming together, this Cavs team can now beat you different ways and they proved it last night.

After hitting 77 three pointers against the Hawks, this was all about attacking and pounding the Raptors inside. By flexing their inside game, the Cavs scored at will, got 33 free throw attempts making 26 of them and they out-rebounded Toronto 45-23.

They dominated the Raptors. This game, and really this series was over in the first quarter. Like the rest of the East, the Raptors have at least one big weakness and the Cavs took advantage of it. The Cavs are the only complete team in the East.

That tells me based on style of play, the Cavs will be able to compete with either the Thunder's inside game or the Warriors' outside game of lighting up threes.

The Cavs right now may be the most complete team in the NBA, or at least the weaker East is making them look that way. Tweet me your thoughts @johnWKYC.
