Cleveland Guardians-Toronto Blue Jays game postponed due to weather; doubleheader scheduled for Saturday

The first pitch in Saturday’s traditional doubleheader is scheduled to take place at 2:10 p.m.

CLEVELAND — As a result of inclement weather, Friday’s game between the Cleveland Guardians and Toronto Blue Jays has been postponed. 

The canceled game will be rescheduled as a traditional doubleheader on Saturday, May 7, against the Blue Jays. 

The first pitch of the doubleheader will take place at 2:10 p.m. 

Fans holding tickets to the May 7 contest can enter Progressive Field at 1 p.m.

The first 10,000 fans entering Progressive Field for game one of the doubleheader will receive the ILTHY® T-shirt promotional item.

Ticketholders for Friday’s game will have the option to exchange into one of 42 game options, including the May 7 doubleheader. Tickets must be exchanged by Friday, July 1 at 5 p.m. 

Single-game ticket holders can begin making the ticket exchanges by visiting CLEGuardians.com/mytickets after 5 p.m. today. 

Season ticket holders can exchange their May 6 tickets for any game available in the My Tickets Exchange program.
