CLEVELAND — From more fireworks shows to additional giveaways, the Cleveland Indians are unleashing their "Pack the House" promotion in an effort to bring sold-out crowds to the stadium in support of the Tribe as they fight for a spot in the playoffs.
“We’re really encouraging fans to pack Progressive Field," said Austin Controulis, of the Cleveland Indians. "We’d love to sell out these three games coming up this weekend and the three games the following weekend against the Phillies. Then we have three against Detroit during the week. Nine games left at Progressive Field, and it’s coming down to the wire.”

WKYC's Dave Chudowsky says this weekend's series against the Twins are the most important games for the Indians so far this season since the two teams are neck-and-neck.
“We’ve added a ton of promotions," Controulis explained. "Extra fireworks. Extra $2 pre-game beers Friday and Saturday."
Other freebies include T-shirts to the first 10,000 fans on Saturday and a rally towel for every fan who attends the games Friday and Saturday.
