Cleveland Indians' Spring Training tickets go on sale Saturday

Tickets for the Cleveland Indians' spring training games at Goodyear Ballpark go on sale on Saturday, December 14.

CLEVELAND — Cannot wait for the start of the 2020 Major League Baseball season?

No reason to worry, as the Cleveland Indians announced Friday that tickets to spring training games in the 2020 Cactus League in Arizona will go on sale on Saturday, December 14 at 10 a.m./Mountain Standard Time (12 p.m./EDT) at Indians.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or 1-866-48-TRIBE.

The Goodyear Ticket Office opens on January 9.

Indians pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to the team’s spring home in Goodyear, Arizona on February 11 and the full squad reports on February 15. The Indians open the 2020 spring season against their in-state rivals, the Cincinnati Reds, at Goodyear Ballpark on February 22.

Since completion of the facility, the Indians and Reds share usage of Goodyear Ballpark throughout the spring.

Promotions for the spring training games including Autograph Days (February 22 and March 17), a bobblehead paying tribute to Shane Bieber, the 2019 MLB All-Star Most Valuable Player (March 6), Fan Appreciation Day (March 22) and Sunday Kids Days.

During the 2020 season, the Indians will look to once again challenge for the American League Central Division Championship after their run of three straight titles and playoff appearances came to an end in 2019 with the emergence of the Minnesota Twins in the division.

Despite not making the postseason for the first time since 2015, the Indians finished 2019 with a 93-69 record, which earned them second place in the AL Central Division, but eight games off the pace set by Minnesota.

The 2019 season marked the fourth consecutive time and fifth in seven years that the Indians finished with at least 91 wins under the direction of manager Terry Francona.
