Jennifer Lopez takes in Indians-Braves game at Progressive Field

Jennifer Lopez took in Sunday night's game between the Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves game at Progressive Field.

CLEVELAND — Jenny from the Block came to the home of “The Block C” on Sunday night.

Renowned entertainer Jennifer Lopez was one of the more than 16,000 people in attendance at Progressive Field to watch the finale of a three-game series between the Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves.

And Slider, the Indians’ mascot, got a picture to prove it.

Lopez is the fiancée of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball announcer Alex Rodriguez, who was in town to broadcast the game.

Lopez and Rodriguez became engaged in early March and the former Seattle Mariners/Texas Rangers/New York Yankees slugger made it official in an Instagram post.

Lopez is a multi-time American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards winner and Grammy nominated singer, as well as award-winning actress for her roles on the realty show “American Idol” and the former NBC police drama, “Shades of Blue.

Although Lopez was in town for the game, she likely is not converting to an Indians fan. She is a native of Castle Hill in The Bronx, New York and is a well-known Yankees supporter.

Lopez did not bring the Indians much luck, though, as they suffered an 11-5 loss to the Braves and lost two of the games in the weekend series.

While Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber struggled and gave up seven runs, five of which were earned, in just 2.1 innings of work against the Braves, shortstop Francisco Lindor made his second consecutive start at shortstop after missing the first three weeks of the season because of calf and ankle issues.

Lindor got one hit in four at-bats, and it was his first home run of the 2019 season.
