The Cleveland Indians celebrated their 2018 home opener at Progressive Field against the Kansas City Royals Friday.

Sports fans love to watch a winner, and Clevelanders are no exception.

Saturday night's Indians game against the Detroit Tigers is officially sold out, the club announced just before 6:10 p.m first pitch. It's the second sellout of the year for the Tribe, with the home opener back on Apr. 6 drawing 34,720 to Progressive Field.

The Indians are currently averaging 20,896 fans per home game, just 22nd out of 30 teams in all of Major League Baseball. However, with both the weather and the team heating up, the numbers have been steadily improving, with just under 26,000 people showing up per game so far this homestand (including 30,926 during Friday's 10-0 win).

The Tribe entered tonight's game riding a five-game winning streak and leading Detroit by six games in the American League Central division. Tickets are still available for Sunday's series finale, with first pitch set for 1:10 p.m.
