Terry Francona joins personalized video shout-out website Cameo

The Indians manager will give personalized video messages, joining countless celebrities and sports personalities on Cameo.

CLEVELAND — Terry Francona isn't managing the Cleveland Indians right now due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, but the two-time World Series champion skipper has found a way to stay busy though while baseball isn't being played.

Francona recently joined the website Cameo, which features celebrities and athletes giving personalized video shout outs for payment. The website lists Francona personalized video shout outs for a fee of $75.

The Indians manager has already recorded and sent out video messages for people, including a pair of Boston Red Sox fans, where Francona managed 2004-2011.

MLB has been postponed the start of their season due to the coronavirus pandemic, and with spring training operations completely shut down, Francona and the Tribe are simply awaiting the word that baseball can resume. Former Indians team president Mark Shapiro, now with the Toronto Blue Jays, said clubs will need at least a month to train and practice in spring camps prior to opening the 2020 season.

Francona joins a long list of celebrities and big names from the sports world who have already joined Cameo.
