Watch highlights: MLB stars of past and present show off for All-Star Game parade and red carpet in Cleveland

The stars were out in Cleveland today.

CLEVELAND — Tuesday marks the big finale for MLB All-Star Week in Cleveland.

The 2019 MLB All-Star Game takes place at Progressive Field at 8 p.m., but first, the players rode through the streets of downtown Cleveland in the Parade and Red Carpet Show.

Fans had a chance to see more than 70 past and present MLB legends. Former Cleveland Indians favorites Jim Thome and Sandy Alomar Jr. served as Grand Marshals for the parade, leading the procession from the Huntington Convention Center to Progressive Field.

MLB team mascots and various youth groups also walked the parade route, which started on Lakeside Avenue outside the convention center. The route continued eastbound, turned right down E. 9th Street and stretched to Eagle Avenue at Progressive Field.
