Baker Mayfield trolls Boston Celtics G Marcus Smart for flop against Cleveland Cavaliers

Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart got away with a blatant flop against Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James, much to the chagrin of Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.

BOSTON -- It hasn't taken long for Baker Mayfield to endear himself to Cleveland sports fans. One month after being drafted first overall by the Cleveland Browns, the former Oklahoma quarterback opted to share his thoughts on the Cavaliers' Game 7 matchup with the Boston Celtics.

And in doing so, Mayfield took aim at a Celtics player, who just so happens to be the alum of his former rival.

With 38 seconds remaining in the first half of Game 7 on Sunday night, LeBron James drove the lane to attempt a layup, only to get called for a charge on Celtics guard Marcus Smart. Replays, however, showed that Smart may have been exaggerating the contact -- or lack thereof -- made by James, who didn't appear to actually connect with the Boston backup.

It was at that point that Mayfield -- a proud former Sooner -- took to Twitter to take aim at Smart, who spent his college career at Oklahoma State.

Mayfield then followed up on his initial post in a proactive attempt to make amends with Browns defensive end -- and former Cowboy -- Emmanuel Ogbah.

The Cavs went on to beat the Celtics 87-79, advancing to the NBA Finals for a fourth straight year,
