Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr. is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with a right knee MCL sprain, the team confirmed Thursday afternoon.
The 26-year-old injured the knee Tuesday during the first quarter of the Cavs' 123-115 loss to the Indiana Pacers. An MRI on Thursday confirmed the extent of the injury.
The Akron native Nance has averaged 8.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season. His loss is just the latest for a Cleveland team that is already without Kevin Love (who is still weeks away from returning) and Rodney Hood, among others.
The Cavs have currently lost 11 in a row and own the NBA's worst record at 8-34.
