If you've been to a Cleveland Cavaliers game in the past few years, you've probably heard Drake's music playing at some point during either the game or pre-game warmups.
But now that the Cavs are facing the 'Nice For What' singer's hometown team, the Toronto Raptors, don't expect that to be the case throughout the Eastern Conference Semifinals. According to the Cavs' official DJ, DJ Steph Floss, he'll be abstaining from playing Drake at Quicken Loans Arena throughout the Cavs' best-of-seven series with top-seeded Toronto.
Floss made the announcement on his Instagram page, where he also revealed he'll no longer be featuring Drake on his mixes for Z 107.9 for the foreseeable future.
Although Floss' Drake boycott appears to be in good fun, the Canadian-born rapper already has legitimate bad blood with at least one member of the Cavs' roster. Both at halftime and following Cleveland's 113-112 overtime victory over Toronto in Game 1 on Tuesday, Drake engaged in heated exchanges with Cavs center Kendrick Perkins, who later revealed the former Degrassi star took exception with him talking trash to Raptors center Serge Ibaka.
After the game, Floss returned to his Instagram to share a picture of Drake donning a LeBron James jersey.
Suffice to say, while his music might not be playing at The Q, Drake's presence looms large over the Cavs' ongoing series.
