Cleveland Cavaliers PF Larry Nance Jr. marries longtime girlfriend Hailey Pince

Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Larry Nance Jr. married his longtime girlfriend, Hailey Pince, at the Summit County Courthouse Tuesday.

CLEVELAND -- It may be only June, but Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Larry Nance Jr. has had a year to remember in 2018.

After being traded to his hometown team and helping them reach the NBA Finals for the fourth consecutive season, Nance Jr. put his offseason break to good use, as he married his longtime girlfriend, Hailey Pince, in a ceremony at the Summit County Courthouse on Tuesday.

Judge Amy Corrigall Jones presided over the ceremony at the Summit County Courthouse and shared a photo with the newlyweds on her Facebook page.

“What an honor to be able to celebrate this special day and officiate the wedding ceremony for Hailey and Larry …GO CAVS!,” Corrigall Jones posted.

While still with the Los Angeles Lakers, Nance Jr. proposed to Pince, and the two announced their engagement on Instagram last September with the former saying, “I liked it, so I put a ring on it,” a nod to a line from the Beyoncé hit song, “Single Ladies.”

Nance Jr. and Pince met at the University of Wyoming, and their relationship blossomed over time.

“Four years ago I met this cutie at a really classy house party in Laramie, Wyoming,” Pince posted. “He thought he was slick when he slid into my DM’s a few days later.. little did he remember I had friended him on Facebook two years prior.

“I’ve been about this boy for a minute, and I cannot wait to marry him in six months.”
