Earlier this year, Collin Sexton found himself in hot water -- and with a car filled with popcorn -- after he failed to provide the veterans on his team with a proper supply of donuts.

It appears the Cleveland Cavaliers rookie point guard has learned his lesson.

As Cavs big man Channing Frye prepared to take part in his final NBA game, he was greeted with an unlikely visitor at his home. As documented on the Cavs' official Twitter account, Sexton -- bathrobe and all -- made a special home delivery to Frye's own front door, gifting the 13-year vet with four bags from Barry Bagels.

Hours after receiving his visit from Sexton, Frye will take part in the final game his NBA career when the Cavs host the Charlotte Hornets in their 2018-19 regular season finale. Last month, the 35-year-old Frye revealed his plans to retire at season's end after a 13-year NBA career that began when he was selected by the New York Knicks with the No. 8 pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.

After spending time with the Knicks, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic, Frye was acquired by Cleveland in a three-way trade with the Magic and Blazers at the 2016 NBA trade deadline. Although he played sparingly in the postseason, the sharpshooting 7-footer has been credited with helping the Cavs build the chemistry that eventually led to their victory over the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals.

Teaming up with former Cavs forward Richard Jefferson co-host the popular Road Trippin' podcast, Frye would go on to spend the next 2.5 seasons in Cleveland before being dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers at the 2018 trade deadline. He'd then make his return to the Cavs the following offseason, signing a one-year deal with the team for what would wind up being the final season of his NBA career.

"These guys have been awesome, man. I'm going to miss them," Frye said after the Cavs loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, in which he was honored in a pre-game ceremony. "I'm going to miss these relationships the most. Basketball is a game and I think if you don't appreciate who you're playing with, then why even play? And I think for me, I'm glad I'm going out with these knuckleheads.
