The Cleveland Cavaliers are involved in trade discussions that would send veteran G Kyle Korver to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for G Jerryd Bayless, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The 37-year-old Korver averaged 9.2 points in 73 games this past season for the Cavs, shooting 43.6 percent from three-point line. Korver is due to make $7.56 million this upcoming season with a salary of $7.5 million next year, but only $3.44 million is guaranteed.
Bayless has fallen out of favor in Philadelphia after signing a three-year, $27 million dollar contract in 2016. A wrist injury limited him to just three games in 2016-17. He fell out of the Sixers' rotation in 2017-18, playing in 39 games and averaging 7.9 points per game. Bayless was considered a candidate for a buyout by Philadelphia with $8.6 million remaining on his contract.
