It didn't take much more than a single viewing of their altercation in Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals to realize that there's been little love lost between Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.

But even after the Warriors finished off the Cavs in four games to capture their second straight championship, the bad blood didn't stop there.

On Tuesday, gossip site Bossip.com published a story detailing a fight between Thompson and Green at an ESPY Awards after party in Los Angeles earlier this month. Citing multiple sources, Bossip revealed that Thompson "socked Green with a two-piece, getting the better of the NBA Champion."

Shortly after the story made the rounds on Twitter, Jason McIntyre of The Big Lead corroborated the report, providing the version of events that he had been told.

According to Bossip, the altercation was broken up by Thompson's former teammate, LeBron James, and Green's current teammate, Kevin Durant. James, who signed a 4-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this summer, had previously been spotted with Durant and Green at a party on the same night the fight is alleged to have occurred.

Having squared off in four straight Finals, the sight of Thompson and Green skirmishing is nothing new. After Green refused to shake Thompson's hand following Golden State's series-clinching victory over the Cavs in Game 4 of the Finals this past June, the 3-time All-Star stated that he and Thompson weren't "cut from the same cloth."

As it turns out, Green might have been right. Just not necessarily in the way he initially thought.
