CLEVELAND -- All things considered, the Cleveland Cavaliers could have gotten off to a better start on Sunday.
LeBron James is trying to remedy that.
After entering the second quarter of Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup with the Indiana Pacers trailing by 19 points, the Cavs found themselves in an early hole. After checking back into the game with more than seven minutes remaining until halftime, James is doing his best to dig his team out of its deficit, including this crazy and-1 layup through the Indiana defense.
James would follow his crafty layup by assisting guard Jordan Clarkson for a bucket, before adding two more layups of his own to trim the Pacers' lead to 10. James' efforts, however, wouldn't be enough, as Indiana proceeded to stretch its lead back to 16 with an 8-2 run.
At halftime, the Cavs trail the Pacers by a score of 55-38. James has scored 14 points and tallied 6 assists and 5 rebounds, while All-Star guard Victor Oladipo leads Indiana with 16 points.
