It's safe to say most Cleveland Browns fans are frustrated following the team's 26-23 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, and that would include perhaps the most high-profile Browns fan in the world.
Despite no longer playing for the Cavaliers, LeBron James' Cleveland sports fandom remains strong (his earlier support of the Yankees and Cowboys notwithstanding...), and the Akron native has posted numerous times on social media throughout the season to give his thoughts on the Browns. Sunday was no different, as the NBA legend seemed to sum up the feelings of all Clevelanders in one simple tweet.
"OF COURSE he would make from 59 yards out vs the Browns," James wrote, referring to Chandler Catanzaro's game-winning field goal in OT after missing twice earlier. "Like c’mon man!"
In fact, most were stunned to see the kick sail through the uprights, including Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, who simply stood on the sidelines with his jaw agape.
The Browns are now 2-4-1 on the year, and their schedule gets no easier with a road game against the hated Pittsburgh Steelers on deck.
