Cleveland State University offering free admission for home men's basketball opener on Saturday

Tickets for the matchup against Edinboro must be claimed online in advance. You can also snack on $1 hot dogs, $2 draft beers and free popcorn.

CLEVELAND — Cleveland State University is offering a great deal for fans to coincide with Dennis Gates' home debut as head coach of the Vikings men's basketball team. 

Saturday's game against Edinboro has been declared as Fan Appreciation Day. Fans will be admitted to the Wolstein Center free of charge. 

Tickets will be available while supplies last and can be claimed online by clicking here. You can also get tickets at the Wolstein Center box office on the day of the game. All seats will be general admission, season-ticket holders' seats will be reserved.

There will be no shortage of great deals once you arrive for the game! Fans can park for free in Cleveland State's South Garage adjacent to the Wolstein Center, courtesy of Cleveland State Parking Services.

Once inside the Wolstein Center, you can enjoy $1 hot dogs, $2 draft beers and free popcorn, courtesy of Cleveland State Hospitality. Children can play in the KidZone, plus an autograph session featuring the entire Cleveland State team will be held following the conclusion of the game. 

Tip off for Saturday's game will be at 3:30 p.m.
