CLEVELAND — Destiny Leo scored 30 more points and Amele Nqwafang had yet another double-double as Cleveland State easily took care of Robert Morris 61-43 Thursday.
With both teams struggling from the field, Leo provided pretty much all of the offense, making 58.8% of her shots and all of CSU's 3-pointers. The Vikings (20-3, 11-2 Horizon League) blew the game open in the second quarter by outscoring the Colonials 17-3.
Robert Morris (8-14, 2-11) shot just 25.4% from the field in its fifth straight loss. Phoenix Gedeon led the team with 14 points and 16 rebounds.
Now winners of three straight, coupled with Youngstown State's loss to Purdue Fort Wayne Thursday night, Cleveland State currently sits alone atop the conference. The Vikes will host the Penguins Saturday afternoon at the Wolstein Center.
