RECAP: Browns get much-needed 17-14 win over Denver Broncos on 'Thursday Night Football'

This "Victory Friday" was the perfect time for our regular segment "3 Things About the Browns," a spinoff of Stephanie Haney's 3 Things to Know podcast. 3News sports anchor fills in for Jim Donovan this week to discuss the major storylines surrounding the club.

Here are today's top topics:

D'Ernest Johnson

The third-string running back and former fishing boat worker was masterful finning in for Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown. Nick and Steph chat about just how big his performance was for the Browns.

Myles Garrett

The star defensive end leads the NFL with 9 1/2 sacks, but blatant holds by offensive linemen against him are not being called and he has also now been "randomly" checked for performance-enhancing drugs after three of the last four games. Is the Defensive Player of the Year candidate being held to an unfair standard?

Baker Mayfield

The Browns' starting quarterback sat out last night's contest with a torn labrum, and it has since been revealed he also has a fractured bone in that same left shoulder. Nick and Steph wonder of he will be available for next Sunday's game against the Steelers, and also grade backup Case Keenum's showing against the Broncos.
