'Bachelorette' star Tyler Cameron shouts out Browns returner Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi after preseason touchdown

In his preseason debut with the Cleveland Browns, Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi returned a punt 86 yards for a touchdown vs. the Washington Redskins on Thursday.

CLEVELAND -- Following his 86-yard touchdown return against the Washington Redskins on Thursday, Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi is football's version of America's sweetheart.

So perhaps it's only fitting that the Cleveland Browns kick returner received a shout out from Tyler Cameron, who enjoyed a breakout performance of his own on this past season of "The Bachelorette."

While Cameron -- better known as "Tyler C" -- didn't get Hannah Brown's (AKA Hanna B) final rose, he did manage to capture the hearts of America thanks to his charm and good looks. But while the rest of the country swoons over Cameron, the 26-year-old has his attention focused on football, as evidenced by the tweet he posted in support of Sheehy-Guiseppi on Friday morning.

Retweeting a video of Sheehy-Guiseppi's punt return from Thursday, Cameron referred to the Cleveland kick returner as the "best story in football right now." He also went as far as to say that he'd buy the 24-year-old's jersey should he make the Browns' final 53-man roster at the end of the preseason.

A former quarterback/tight end at wake Forest and Florida Atlantic, Cameron knows a thing or two about gridiron glory. In the four seasons that comprised his college career, the Jupiter, Fla., native completed 17 of 41 pass attempts for 140 yards, in addition to tallying 41 receptions for 509 yards and a touchdown.

Like Cameron, who became a model after his college career and has been romantically linked to model Gigi Hadid recently, Sheehy-Guiseppi took an unusual route to football fame. Having not played organized football since 2016, the former Phoenix College standout's gridiron career appeared to be over before he wowed Browns executive Alonzo Highsmith at an impromptu tryout in North Miami earlier this year.

Months later, Sheehy Guiseppi -- who was sleeping at a 24/7 gym prior to signing with the Browns -- finds himself as one of the most unlikely stars of the NFL preseason. And should he manage to parlay his strong preseason into a roster spot in the regular season, he'll already have one of football's most famous fans in his corner.
