Ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns have placed tight end Harrison Bryant and safeties Karl Joseph and Andrew Sendejo on the NFL's reserve/COVID-19 list, which was created for players who have either tested positive for or have been exposed to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The addition of Bryant, Joseph, and Sendejo to the COVID-19 list comes three days after the Browns placed six players on the COVID-19 reserve list ahead of Sunday's loss to the New York Jets. After initially placing linebacker B.J. Goodson on the COVID-19 list, contact tracing resulted in wide receivers Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge, as well as Jacob Phillips, being placed on the COVID-19 list as close contacts.

According to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, his team's top four wide receivers, as well as Phillips, will be eligible to rejoin the team on Thursday should they continue to test negative for the coronavirus.

If Joseph, Sendejo or Bryant tested positive, it could leave Cleveland shorthanded heading a regular-season finale in which the Browns are attempting to end the NFL's longest active postseason drought (17 years). With a win vs. Pittsburgh, Cleveland would clinch an AFC Wild Card spot, while a loss to the Steelers would leave the Browns needing help elsewhere in the league to qualify for postseason play.

Signed as free agents last offseason, Sendejo has started 14 games at free safety this season, while Joseph has played in 12 games in the Browns' secondary. Bryant, meanwhile, has served as Cleveland's No. 2 tight end and has caught 24 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season.
