Game preview

Entering Sunday having won five of its last six games, the Browns can end their NFL's longest active postseason drought (17 years) with the following scenarios this weekend:

  • Browns beat Jets, Indianapolis Colts lose to Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Browns beat Jets, Miami Dolphins lose or tie to Las Vegas Raiders
  • Browns beat Jets, Baltimore Ravens lose or tie to New York Giants
  • Browns tie Jets, Miami Dolphins lose to Las Vegas Raiders
  • Browns tie Jets, Baltimore Ravens lose to New York Giants

Meanwhile, the Jets enter Week 16 following its first win of the season, a 23-20 upset of the Los Angeles Rams, which could prove costly once the NFL Draft arrives.

Prediction

Baker Mayfield and the Browns offense keep their momentum rolling against what is arguably the worst team in the NFL. From there, the question is whether Cleveland will get the help it needs elsewhere in the league or if it will have to wait one more week to punch its playoff ticket.
