CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield has a challenge for his Cleveland fans this weekend.

Mayfield is leading a team in the 2019 Special Olympics Polar Plunge set to happen at Cleveland's Edgewater Park this Saturday. Mayfield's team, called Team Baker, is raising donations to benefit the Special Olympics. On Saturday, the team will dive into Lake Erie's icy waters for the cause.

A Special Olympics spokesperson has confirmed that Mayfield will not be able to attend Saturday's event.

Mayfield will also give a pair of signed headphones to one of his Polar Plunge team members.

Saturday's forecast looks cloudy and rainy with temperatures sitting in the high 40s to low 50s.

As of Tuesday at 9 a.m., Team Baker has raised $1,797.
