With the NFL's "legal tampering" period kicking off at 12 p.m. ET on Monday, March 15, the 2021 free agency period is unofficially underway.

What follows is a running list of all the latest Browns-related rumors, news and signings as Cleveland looks to improve on its 11-5 record in 2020 while entering the offseason with more than $24 million in cap space according to OverTheCap.com.

Wednesday, March 17

10:32 p.m. Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi has agreed to a one-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The 26-year-old spent his first four seasons with the Browns.

9:45 p.m. Roll out the red carpet: According to ESPN's Jake Trotter, the Browns have agreed to re-sign wide receiver Rashard "Hollywood" Higgins to a one-year, $2.38 million contract.

4:39 p.m. The Browns will re-sign LB Malcolm Smith, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler

4:00 p.m. David Njoku's contract for the 2021 season is now fully guaranteed.

Tuesday, March 16

8:21 p.m. Former Browns cornerback Terrance Mitchell signs a two-year, $7.5 million contract with the Houston Texans, per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

2:52 p.m. According to CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones, the Cleveland Browns are signing former Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Takkarist McKinley to a one-year, $4 million contract.

2:42 p.m. The Cincinnati Bengals sign former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Mike Hilton, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

12:56 p.m. The Jacksonville Jaguars agree to a 3-year deal with former Seattle Seahawks corner Shaq Griffin, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

11:58 a.m. The Cincinnati Bengals agree to a three-year deal with former Dallas Cowboys defensive back Chidobe Awuzie according to ESPN's Dan Graziano.

9:18 a.m. The Denver Broncos exercise the $7 million guarantee option on Von Miller's $18 million salary for 2021, according to Mike Klis of 9News.

Monday, March 15

10:16 p.m. The Houston Texans sign linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis to a two-year deal according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

10:12 p.m. The Cincinnati Bengals reach a four-year, $60 million deal with edge rusher Trey Hendrickson, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

8:54 p.m. Pass-rusher Carl Lawson agrees to a 3-year, $45 million contract with the New York Jets, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

8:38 p.m. Former Browns offensive tackle Kendall Lamm agrees to a two-year, $8.5 million deal with the Tennessee Titans, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

6:43 p.m. Former Browns defensive tackle Vincent Taylor agrees to a one-year deal with the Houston Texans, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

4:19 p.m. The Browns are on the board, signing safety John Johnson III to a three-year deal worth $33.75 million ($24 million guaranteed), according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.

3:12 p.m. The Patriots continue to be the NFL's most active team, signing edge rusher Matthew Judon and defensive back Jalen Mills.

1:11 p.m. The Browns are among the teams interested in Rams safety John Johnson III, according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.

12:48 p.m. According to Josina Anderson, the Browns are among the teams to have shown interest in New Orleans Saints defensive end Trey Hendrickson, along with the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings.

12:19 p.m. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-sign edge rusher Shaquil Barrett to a four-year, $72 million contract, $36 million of which is fully guaranteed.

12:13 p.m. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Detroit Lions have re-signed defensive end Romeo Okwara to a three-year, $39 million contract.

11:52 a.m. The Browns issue a restricted free agent tender to wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, which will allow Cleveland to match any offer Hodge receives.
