BEREA, Ohio — Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. spoke with the media Wednesday for only the second time since he was acquired by the franchise on the first day of the new league year back in March, and he had plenty to say during his nearly 20-minute press conference inside the Casey Coleman Field House.

From his custom Rolls-Royce to his fit within the offense, Beckham Jr. has some memorable quotes, and here is a look at the best lines from the multi-time Pro Bowl receiver.

Where’s the Rolls?

Earlier this offseason, Beckham Jr. shared a video of his Browns-themed custom Rolls-Royce with his Instagram followers, and it had the sports and entertainment worlds talking.

From its orange-colored exterior to the custom hood ornament that showed him making a one-handed catch in a Browns uniform, the lavish car has plenty of noticeable details, but it has yet to be spotted in the parking lot of the team facility, at least for now.

“It’s my car. I’m going to bring it wherever I go, so it’ll be here,” Beckham Jr. said.

Browns are dream place, new environment

After five years of playmaking for the New York Giants, Beckham Jr. welcomed the move from “The Big Apple” to Cleveland, one he fully embraced after spending part of last summer working with Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, and once again, getting to team up with his close friend, wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

“I feel good just to be back out here,” Beckham Jr. said. “It’s what you dreamed all your life in a new place, new environment, so just catching on, catching up with teammates and make sure I get back to where I know I can be at.”

Beyond giddy

Beckham Jr. welcomed the change in scenery not just because it was a fresh start, but also, for the potential for success that he sees on the field.

From Mayfield’s emergence as the on-field leader of the team to the productivity from Landry and running back Nick Chubb in 2018, Beckham Jr. believes good things are ahead if the Browns put in the necessary work.

“I’m almost giddy,” Beckham Jr. said. “I feel like a little kid with the excitement that I have, seeing Baker, seeing these guys, seeing ... you know we talk a lot about this offense, but this defense is something special and this team is really coming together.

“I’m beyond excited about the opportunity I have here to start over, a new team. Obviously, the goal is always going to be the same -- to hang banners. That’s what you play this game for. We know we got a lot of expectations. We got a lot of work to do and I think we’ll get there.”

Not first rodeo

Beckham Jr. missed most of the organized team activities sessions while working on his craft away from the facility, and part of that work included treatment to get his body in the best shape possible to be a playmaker during the 2019 season.

“I know what it takes to get me in top physical condition, mental, all of those things,” Beckham Jr. said. “This isn’t my first rodeo. It’s not my first-go-round. I just know what it takes to get there.”

Likes to have fun

Beckham Jr. plays football with a great amount of emotion, and sometimes, that manifests itself in sarcastic exchanges on Twitter with fans.

And Beckham Jr. answered why he does not always hold back in responding to his detractors.

“Have you seen the video of the lion getting attacked by 18 hyenas?” Beckham Jr. said. “He didn’t sit there and just get bit. You know what I mean? I like to have fun.”
