CLEVELAND -- Just prior to the Cleveland Browns' 5-0 preseason victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, the security crew at FirstEnergy Stadium got in some practice of its own.
In video captured by 92.3 The Fan's David Spano, as well as NBC10's John Clark, FirstEnergy Stadium security ran pre-game drills targeting the potential intruders -- and possible streakers -- who have made a habit of interrupting sporting events in recent years.
Although it's been a few years since the last intrusion, FirstEnergy Stadium has been no stranger to streakers. In 2013, a fan was banned from the stadium after streaking across the field during a preseason game against the Detroit Lions, while in 2005, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison infamously body-slammed a fan -- this one clothed -- after he entered the field of play at what was then Cleveland Browns stadium.
But should a fan opt to rush the field at FirstEnergy Stadium this season, expect the security to be better prepared. After all, it's not just the preseason for the players.
