Watch: Browns punter Jamie Gillan practices snow punts in Tremont

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Cleveland Browns punter Jamie Gillain shared footage of himself practicing punts in a local park.

Jamie Gillan experienced plenty over the course of his first season with the Cleveland Browns.

He's still waiting, however, to face his first snow.

But just in case the Browns find themselves playing deep enough for such weather to be a factor next season, the second-year punter plans to be prepared. On Thursday, the 22-year-old Gillan took to Twitter to share footage of himself practicing punts inside of a snow-covered park in the Tremont neighborhood.

"Heard it snows in the playoffs," Gillain posted as a caption. "Figured I should prepare."

Signed as an undrafted free agent last offseason, Gillan beat out veteran Britton Colquitt to become the Browns' starting punter in the 2019 season. From there, "The Scottish Hammer" put together an impressive rookie campaign, tallying 63 punts for a 46.2 yards average, including a long of 71 yards and 28 punts that landed inside the opponent's 28-yard line.

For his efforts, Gillan -- as well as kicker Austin Seibert -- was named to the PFWA's All-Rookie Team. He was also named the AFC's Special Teams Player of the Week following the Browns' Week 2 victory over the New York Jets.
