What a week it's been for Baker Mayfield.

On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns quarterback was named the Pro Football Writers of America's Rookie of the Year.

On Wednesday, he appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he was blindfolded to participate in a game of "Nuzzle Whaaa?"

For the uninitiated, "Nuzzle Whaaa?" is a game in which Corden and guest are both blindfolded and asked to identify the object in front of them, using nothing more than their "sense of nuzzling."

Among the objects Mayfield was required to nuzzle was a marching band member, cotton candy and an emu.

After Mayfield correctly identified the marching band member -- specifically, a tuba player -- he proceeded to take a commanding 2-0 lead thanks to the cotton candy. From there, it all came down to the emu, which Corden deemed was worth three points.

Unfortunately for Mayfield, his nuzzling hot streak came to an end. After several guesses, which included a horse, an alpaca and an ostrich, Corden correctly identified the emu to earn a 3-2 victory over the former No. 1 pick -- although he ended the segment by saying "let's call it a tie."

You can watch the entirety of Mayfield's segment on The Late Late Show via the YouTube clip below.

Appearing in 14 games in his rookie season, Mayfield completed 63.8 percent of his passes, amassing 3,725 yards and an NFL rookie record 27 touchdowns.

But while Mayfield's star power on the football field is evident, his nuzzling skills could use some improvement.
