From the moment it occurred, the Cleveland Browns' decision to trade Corey Coleman figured to be one of the more memorable moments of "Hard Knocks" this season.
It didn't disappoint.
Before the second episode of the series even rolled its opening title sequence on Tuesday night, it began with a cold open of Coleman inside his downtown Cleveland apartment. After the former first-round pick showed off his impressive shoe collection, his struggles at practice were put on full display, with offensive coordinator Todd Haley giving him a handful. From there, Coleman proceeded to burst into the head coach Hue Jackson's office, in a scene that will go down in "Hard Knocks" infamy.
"Why am I running second-team," an emotional Coleman asked Jackson. "Why am I running second-team? That s--t's crazy to me."
"Is Todd in there," Jackson replied pointing to Haley's office. "Go ask Todd
"If you don't want me to play, why won't y'all just trade me?" Coleman implored as the opening title sequence began.
Upon returning to footage, Coleman was shown driving to the Browns facility, his wish having been granted. Last week, Cleveland traded Coleman to the Buffalo Bills, acquiring nothing more than a 2020 seventh-round pick.
Although little fall out from the trade was actually shown, Browns fans won't have to wait long to get their next look at the team's 2016 first-round pick. On Friday, the Bills will come to Cleveland for a preseason contest, with Hard Knocks cameras having reportedly followed Coleman to Buffalo.
