WATCH | Tracy Morgan roasts Odell Beckham Jr. for joining Cleveland Browns at 2019 ESPY Awards

'The only reason people leave New York to go to Cleveland is if you're in the witness protection program.'

LOS ANGELES — Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took a joking jab from comedian Tracy Morgan during Wednesday night's ESPY Awards.

"Another thing I don’t like now, players changing teams," Morgan said during his monologue while hosting the show. "Anthony Davis went to the Lakers. Kawhi went to the Clippers. Odell Beckham Jr. went from my Giants to the Browns, and Oddell is sitting there acting like it was a great idea."

The camera cut to Beckham who clapped in response.

"The only reason people leave New York to go to Cleveland is if you’re in the witness protection program. I don't care what Odell thinks! He's down there and I'm up here!"
