Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff was a 'giddy kid' after Cleveland native Halle Berry tweeted at him

Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry noticed a familiar name during the Los Angeles Rams' win over the Seattle Seahawks

Two years ago, Jared Goff landed in Hollywood.

Now the Los Angeles Rams quarterback is hoping to land a leading lady.

During the Rams' 36-31 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, a noticeable name could be heard during one of Goff's audibles at the line of scrimmage. As the third-year signal-caller looked to adjust a play, he could be heard shouting "Halle Berry" to the rest of the Los Angeles offense.

Berry, an Academy Award-winning actress, was apparently listening. The Cleveland native proceeded to take to Twitter to question Goff on the call and what exactly it meant.

As word got back to Goff regarding Berry's tweet, the 24-year-old became a "giddy kid" according to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry.

"Wait, hold on, are you serious?" Goff said, per Thiry. "She heard it!"

"It's so funny," he continued said. "The thing is, when [Rams coach Sean McVay] called it, I was like, 'It's so quiet right now, this is going to get on TV.'"

Goff, the No. 1 pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, then proceeded to take to Twitter to "shoot his shot."

Unfortunately for him, the interaction between the two ended there -- not that his reply went unnoticed by some of his Rams teammates.
