Ohio State moves up to No. 7 in AP poll following run in Big Ten tournament

After falling in the championship game, the Buckeyes earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

After their run to the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game, the Ohio State men's basketball team moved up two spots this week to No. 7 in the latest AP poll.

The Buckeyes defeated Minnesota, Purdue and Michigan before falling against Illinois in overtime in Sunday's tournament finale.

Ohio State was joined by three other teams in the top 10: No. 2 Illinois, No. 4 Michigan and No. Iowa. Purdue was the fifth Big Ten ranked at No. 20.

The Buckeyes earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will face Oral Roberts in the first round on Friday.
