CLEVELAND — Each week this football season, WKYC's Nick Camino and Ben Axelrod will be breaking down the week's action in both college football and the NFL from a gambling perspective in a new digital show called "Chalk Talk."
The show will be available on WKYC.com, YouTube and in an audio podcast format, including on iTunes and Google Play.
In episode 1, Nick and Ben make their picks for the following college football contests:
- Ohio State (-16) vs. Cincinnati
- Colorado (+5) vs. Nebraska
- Fresno State (+3) vs. Minnesota
- Auburn (-18) vs. Tulane
- Texas (+5.5) vs. LSU
As well as their picks for the following NFL games:
- Chicago Bears (-3) vs. Green Bay Packers
- Cleveland Browns (-6) vs. Tennessee Titans
- Jacksonville Jaguars (+4) vs. Kansas City Chiefs
- Carolina Panthers (+3) vs. Los Angeles Rams
- Oakland Raiders (-1) vs. Denver Broncos
Nick also makes an early Heisman Trophy pick based on the post-Week 1 odds while Ben gives a preseason 2019 NFL MVP pick.
Nick and Ben will be keeping a running tally of their picks -- and records -- throughout the season so follow along to see how they fare.
Chalk Talk will be released online every Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET and can be found on WKYC.com, YouTube, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher and SoundCloud.
