All year long, WKYC will be spotlighting Girls in STEM, an initiative that inspires girls to embrace science, technology, engineering and math.
On Friday's Donovan Live, our Betsy Kling welcomed the 'STEMbassador' of the week: Jillian Motley, a 14-year-old sophomore at Lawrence High School.
In addition to her already tough high school load, Jillian also participates in the Great Lakes Science Center's Great Science Academy, were she gets to complete various projects and learn more about the field from experts.
