All year long, WKYC will be spotlighting Girls in STEM, an initiative that inspires girls to embrace science, technology, engineering and math.

Kirsten Ellenbogen, President and CEO at the Science Center, says not only is it important to include girls, but get the whole family involved.

"Part of what we do is to make sure we are including the whole family when we talk about science," she said.
