Girls in STEM | Women-owned firm is turning old into new

A group of local women are using their STEM abilities to power a successful local firm called Ariel Ventures.

Often in aging cities across the country, developers tear down old buildings to build new. For Cleveland-based Ariel Ventures, they specialize in bringing old buildings back to life.

And they've been very successful doing it.

But what makes Ariel Ventures unique is: It's entirely owned by women. And get this, several partners come from science backgrounds, but ended up focusing on math in their STEM careers.

Ariel Ventures provides finance, tax, IT and business advisory services to renewable energy, real estate, small business, international business, and economic development projects.

We took a trip to Ariel Ventures and visited with Radhika Reddy, one of three partners in the company. Check out our experience in the player above.
