57-year-old motorcyclist killed in accident on I-480

The accident is near Grayton Road and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

CLEVELAND — A 57-year-old motorcyclist has died after a severe accident Sunday afternoon in Cuyahoga County.

According to Cleveland Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the Cleveland Division of Police and Cleveland Fire Department responded to an accident Sunday around 3:30 p.m. involving a motorcycle and an unspecified number of other vehicles on I-480 near Grayton Road. 

3News was also able to confirm that a female, who was identified as the sole rider of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead on arrival.

When 3News arrived on scene Sunday, at least eight police cars, three fire-trucks, and four ambulances were seen responding to the accident close to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

At this time, no other injuries have been reported and no further information is available.
