CLEVELAND — There was an early morning traffic alert Wednesday as a portion of I-90 West was closed due to a crash and crime scene investigation.
The I-90 closure stretched between E. 156th Street and Lakeshore Boulevard.
"There are significant delays in the area and motorists are encouraged to use reroutes on St. Clair or Lakeshore or to avoid the area," the Cleveland Police Department announced.
The I-90 westbound closure was lifted around 9:30 a.m. -- hours after it began around 5:30 a.m.
