INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Are you coming to downtown Cleveland this weekend?
If your drive includes I-77, be aware that the entire highway is closing in each direction all weekend between I-480 and I-490 in Independence.
The closure is in effect from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 until 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30.
The following ramps will also be closed:
- I-480 East and West ramps to I-77 North
- I-490 East ramp to I-77 South
ODOT says the closure is needed to make room for bridge repairs.
All I-77 traffic will be detoured using I-490, Route 176 and I-480.
