CLEVELAND -- Heads up, Gordon Square drivers!

The W. 45th Street exit ramp from the Shoreway to Detroit Avenue will close for about three weeks starting Nov. 12.

Shoreway drivers should access Detroit Avenue via W. 73rd and W. 25 streets.

The ramp will close so that the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District can continue construction of the Westerly Storage Tunnel, which started in May. The two-mile tunnel, which will capture and prevent 300 million gallons of sewage from entering the Cuyahoga River, will run beneath the Tremont, Ohio City and Detroit Shoreway neighborhoods.

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District says the ramp should reopen Nov. 30.
