CLEVELAND — Parts of I-77 just south of downtown Cleveland are closed in both directions after a crash on Wednesday evening.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, a tow truck was towing a fire engine on I-77 south near Pershing Avenue. The tow truck struck the concrete median, which caused the both the tow truck and the fire engine to flip over.
Police say both sides of the freeway have debris.
I-77 northbound is shut down from Harvard. Southbound, I-77 is shut down from Pershing Avenue.
