Frontier Airlines to offer nonstop service from Cleveland Hopkins to Puerto Rico starting in May

For a limited time, Frontier is offering an introductory fare price as low as $69 one-way.

CLEVELAND — Here's one way to lift your spirits on a cold day in Northeast Ohio.

Frontier Airlines has announced that it will be launching new seasonal nonstop service from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico starting in May.  The new route will make Frontier the only carrier directly connecting CLE to San Juan. There will be four flights per week.

For a limited time, Frontier is offering an introductory fare price as low as $69 one-way. Tickets must be purchased no later than 11:59 p.m. on February 7. The discounted fares are valid from May 4 to June 28, 2023, with blackout dates from May 26-29.

“Puerto Rico is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean with its beautiful beaches, rainforest and historic sites and we’re thrilled to provide those in the greater Cleveland area with convenient nonstop service to San Juan,” said Frontier Airlines Senior Vice President Daniel Shurz. “For those with family and friends on the island, our ‘Low Fares Done Right’ make it easy and convenient to connect with loved ones.”

With the addition of the service to Puerto Rico, Frontier Airlines now offers a total of 12 nonstop destinations from Cleveland Hopkins.

“We are delighted with this latest destination to the Cleveland market by Frontier Airlines,” said John Hogan, Deputy Chief of Marketing and Air Service Development at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. “Nonstop San Juan service is desired by many of our residents in Northeast Ohio and we are appreciative of the continued commitment by Frontier Airlines.”
