I’m sure that sight had many of you wondering when our average LAST snowfall day in Cleveland is, well…it’s today - on April 9th.  This is typically the day when Cleveland Hopkins International Airport sees its last 0.1” or greater of snowfall.

With that being said, we’ve certainly picked up snowfall in May! If you’re old enough to remember, back on May 7, 1974, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport picked up 0.1” of snowfall which made that date the latest snowfall date since record keeping began.

Back in 1945 on March 7th, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport reported its earliest last snowfall day for that winter season.

If you’re a winter weather enthusiast, you’re going to love this – more snow showers are in our forecast tonight and into Friday!
