Did severe weather make a brief appearance last night where you live? Here are a few Northeast Ohio locations that got hit

There was about '30 minutes of chaos' in Seven Hills on Thursday night as a downburst moved in.

CLEVELAND — For some of us in Northeast Ohio, the weather on Thursday night was somewhat severe.

In Seven Hills, Fire Chief James Meklemburg tells 3News there was about "30 minutes of chaos around 8:15 p.m." There was what appeared to be a microburst that sheered off trees and power lines in a straight line from Hillside to Rockside Rd.

Trees penetrated homes, while large limbs fell on others as there was significant structural damage in the area. Charged power lines were down on roof tops and sparking.

Meklemburg says there were three hours of non-stop reponses to emergencies. His department handled over 30 calls in two hours with the help of six other departments for mutual aid.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

Several of you reached out to 3News Chief Meteorologist Betsy Kling with your videos and photos.

We also saw this in Independence.

Meanwhile, here's how the skies looked in Willoughby Hills.
