CLEVELAND — The combination of our hot and humid atmosphere and a frontal boundary continue to produce scattered showers and storms across northern Ohio, some of which have been potent. These storms have produced powerful winds and large hail--and there have been plenty of wind damage and hail reports throughout the afternoon and evening.

One last round of storms will move from west to east across northern Ohio tonight with the potential for strong winds and lots of lightning. Storms will eventually wind down after our last round moves through and then we turn towards areas of fog and muggy conditions. Low temps will drop to near 70.

All of the shower and storm activity that we had today should lead to a quieter Monday as the action sinks south for a bit. We'll likely have lingering clouds with some sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s. A few showers can't be ruled out by our atmosphere should be pretty worked over Monday.

By Tuesday that frontal boundary lifts back north bringing a return to a few showers and storms. By Wednesday a stronger cold front from the Midwest will swing through the area bringing a final round of showers and storms, some of which may be strong, before we clear out with cooler, drier air late week!

I'll be all over these storms this evening on Twitter (@wintzweather) and Facebook (facebook.com/wintzweather) for the latest.
