AUSTIN, Texas — A strong cold front pushed through Friday afternoon, and now this weekend brings our first legitimate taste of fall weather!
Saturday morning will start in the 40s and 50s, and only reach the low to mid-70s during the afternoon. Some high level clouds could drift through during the day, but we have no rain chances in the forecast for the weekend as Sunday also stays cool and dry. Conditions will stay on the breezy side throughout Saturday with sustained winds of 10 to 15 mph. Gusts of 25 mph will be possible, but winds should start to calm down as we head into Saturday evening.
Temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 40s and lower 50s Saturday night. However, some isolated areas in the Hill Country could experience temperatures in the upper 30s.
Temperatures and humidity build slightly early next week as a more moisture-rich southerly flow sets up off the Gulf of Mexico. However, it looks like our next cold front moves in around Thursday, bringing a chance for some isolated showers and storms, and another cool down late next week.

Partly cloudy and chilly. North-northeast wind at 5 to 10 mph.
