FORECAST | Watching for showers Easter weekend

Quiet wrap up to the week, keep the rain gear nearby this weekend

CLEVELAND — We will be greeted with bright skies as we close out the week. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 40s to low 50s. The most noticeable change as we head into Friday will be the gradual increase in cloud cover through the evening.

Going into the weekend, conditions will become damp. Rounds of showers are possible as early as Saturday morning, with rain potentially lasting through most of the day. However, we can expect a break from the rain just in time for Easter Sunday, with dry conditions prevailing through most of the day.

However, once the sun sets on Sunday, all bets are off. Showers will return, persisting through most of early next week. These showers could be heavy at times, accompanied by rumbles of thunder

3-day forecast

TONIGHT: Passing clouds. Small sprinkle chance. Low 30s

FRIDAY:  Mainly sunny.  Nearing 50.

SATURDAY: Rain likely. Mid 50s

SUNDAY: Some sun, PM rain. Mid 50s
