Although we're off to a great start this morning with temperatures in the 60s under partly cloudy skies, we're expecting scattered rain and thunderstorms after lunchtime today as clouds thicken up.

A few of this afternoon's thunderstorms could be heavy and strong with lots of rain, wind and lightning. If you plan on heading outside for an extended period of time, have your umbrellas and rain gear ready and set to go! Highs this afternoon are forecast in the low/mid 80s which is a good 10°F above normal! We'll fall through the mid 60s overnight under mostly cloudy skies.

Sunday looks even better with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with even warm temperatures in the mid 80s! Our rain chances tomorrow are slim; however, they are not non-existent. I think most areas should stay dry. It'll be a great day to get out and BBQ and spend quality time outside with friends and family.

Memorial Day Monday will feel like the middle of summertime with highs nearing 90°F. Again our chances for rain will be nice and low, so any outdoor parades or memorial day services that you plan on attending should stay dry. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and staying well hydrated.

We're in the 80s throughout the rest of this upcoming workweek.
